Once Upon an Earth (Earth + legends/tales)

Welcome to 2017 in a perfect world where magic is real, America is just a bunch of islands, Europe is united, Asia and Africa are rich and powerful, animals can talk, and robots and fairies are a thing. 
Well, of course, it's not that perfect. Fairies deal counterfeit magic, animals are still slaughtered and eaten, robots are slaves, and the world is polluted with magic steam and magic cars and everything. Politicians are corrupt, such as the President-general of Europe, Mr. Julius Wolf aka "Big Bad Wolf". He has slaughtered most of his opponents, such as Prince Arthur of Llogres, Three Swines, or a Little Communist Hood. In the Middle West (our Middle East), fanatics are using jinns to create chaos. Africa is divided between Prester John, a mad theocrat, and the Sandwoman, a voodoo witch who loves throwing sand in people's eyes. Snoweiss Inc. has taken control of the Mounts of the Moon region while Lord Peter Pan's corporation has invaded the island of Neversouth (our Australia), and Robinson Crusoe is bringing capitalism on another island. 
But, well, they all live in a fairy tale, so they can't really complain. Can they ?
